Black Hole, 2022. Acrylic, water, glue, flotreol, and spray paint on canvas, 24x48".

The sight of a black hole weighs heavily on our human mind as a deep archetypal symbol. It conjures up ideas about a portal to mystery, danger, evil, or nothingness. It invites, lures, or sucks us into the unknown, into the unconscious, into the mystical void. -  Photographic Psychology.

The background is a slate grey with three wide red splats that span the whole canvas. Four white tire-like brush strokes twist and turn across the splats as a criss-cross black pattern sits on top. In the center, there are multiple black tendrils that reach out from a black hole. Two incomplete black rectangles frame the hole and a gold triangle tangles all layers together.
